Supporting WOMEN

Shelley Moore Capito
Encouraging women to be the next West Virginia powerhouses serves as the vision of the WVU's Women's Business Center and West Virginia's United States Senator, Shelly Moore Capito.

More women must be at the forefront of change and growth across the Mountain State to chart the brightest pathways toward West Virginia prosperity.

As the first female U.S. Senator in West Virginia’s history and the forty-fifth woman to be elected in the country, Senator Capito is committed to working with women statewide to bring new opportunities to West Virginia women and advocating for increased involvement in technology and innovation, as well as politics and other leadership roles.
